ME Awareness Week 2020
In the past few weeks, the whole nation has had a taste of what it is like to be housebound, and people recovering from coronavirus are suffering from extreme fatigue and other post viral effects. For many people with ME their isolation has intensified and daily life such as getting supermarket delivery slots and deliveries of medication has become even more difficult. We have joined with other ME charities in lobbying government and supermarkets to be aware of the needs of people with ME.
We want you to know that we are still here to help anyone with ME, and their families and carers during these difficult times. Our Doctor, Nurse, Physiotherapist, Counsellors and Chaplains are working from home, offering advice and support via phone, Skype and email.
Although we have cancelled face to face clinics and home visits until further notice, we can still offer clinic appointments to new patients via Skype. New patients should contact us via the contact form. Arrangements to follow up existing patients continue as normal.
Please keep well and keep safe.
