At The ME Trust we are always looking for ways to improve the lives of people with ME. We are pleased to support a very important new research project which is going to look into the biological causes of ME. The study will look at the DNA of participants to help identify the genetic causes of the disease, and then help to guide the development of new drugs to treat it.
The project needs to recruit 20,000 people with ME who will agree to a simple saliva test. This is really much needed and long overdue research which could make a real difference to the diagnosis and treatment of people living with ME.
If you would like to be part of this very important project, the first step is to show your support by signing up on The ME/CFS Biomedical Partnership website.
It is very easy to sign up and will only take about 2 minutes. At this stage you would simply be indicating your support for the project. The website has a comprehensive list of Frequently Asked Questions and more details about the research.
Please sign up today. There is strength in numbers and together we can work towards a better future.
