TV coverage of people with ME
BBC South East Today on 6 January featured a young man with ME, Connor Hope, whose brilliant academic career has been put on hold by the ravages of this chronic illness.
Forced to drop out of his Oxford degree just weeks before his final exams, and no longer able to pursue a PhD, Connor’s world has been reduced to his bedroom. He can hardly lift his head off the pillow, let alone get out of bed.
We hope that the TV coverage will help increase awareness of this cruel condition. The ME Trust exists to help people like Connor.
